Goals & Objectives

   To bring together, the Chief Officer Corps of Maryland, and other persons interested in the saving of life, protection of property, and the preventing and extinguishing of fires.

   To discuss ways and means for the betterment of the fire service of the State of Maryland and the reduction of the unnecessary loss of life and property of fires;

   To promote legislation at Federal and State levels in matters that affect the safety of life and property;

   To distribute information on fire prevention;

   To provide, with the cooperation of the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute and other fire service agencies, ways for fire service officers to get advanced command level and management training;

   To establish liaisons with other State Fire Chief Organizations to exchange friendship and knowledge; and to cultivate Fraternal relationships among our members.

    To develop programs to support our active Officer Corps in a manner which directly serves the citizens of MARYLAND.
